Gentle, licensed, beginner-friendly - a 1,400-year-old tradition, done properly.
Acupuncture and moxibustion have been practiced in Japan for over 1,400 years. In Japan, acupuncturists are nationally licensed practitioners - a 3-year university-level program and national board exams are required.
Japanese-style acupuncture is known for very thin needles and gentle stimulation compared with other styles - which is why we recommend it even for complete beginners.
